Life, Death, Grief and Loss Counselling and Therapy

Support with issues including mortality, fear, meaning, purpose and life-changing experiences

Here you can speak openly about life, death, mortality, fear, meaning, grief, or perhaps the impact of a near death experience. You won’t be rushed, judged, or told how you “should” and “shouldn’t” feel. These conversations can help you understand what’s happening inside you, make sense of the changes you’re experiencing, and find grounding when life feels unsafe and the ground uncertain. You may find yourself questioning your purpose, wondering why you’re here, or feeling a shift in what matters to you. Thoughts about mortality might be showing up more often, bringing fear, anxiety, or a sense of uncertainty that’s hard to talk about with others.

Are you reaching the end of your own life?

You may be reaching the end of your own life, whether through aging or terminal illness. These can be confusing times where you feel unable to speak to friends or family for fear of burdening them or of being misunderstood. Or perhaps you want to look at your life and your memories, sharing them and talking through issues that may sit heavily for you. With deep respect and care, I will walk alongside you during your journey, helping you to explore your thoughts and feelings about yourself, your life, your beliefs and the impact your death may have on those you will leave behind.

Are you losing or have lost someone you love?

Grief and loss can impact your world in many varying ways. Whether you’ve lost someone recently or many years ago, or have a loved one who is nearing the end of their life, you may be carrying emotions that feel heavy, confusing, or unpredictable. You might be struggling with the finality of death, the absence of someone you love, or the way grief affects your relationships, identity, and daily life.  Exploring your feelings around loss before, during and after death, I will sit alongside you helping you understand and come to terms with the situation you find yourself in, and what that may mean for yourself now and in the future.

Have you experienced a life changing experience that can’t be explained?

Questions about life and death can surface at moments when everything feels unstable. You might be navigating the aftermath of a near‑death experience, trying to make sense of something that felt life‑altering or surreal.

Together, we can explore what your experiences are bringing up for you, how they’re shaping your thoughts and emotions, reactions of those you may have shared your experience with, and what you need to feel more anchored and present in your life here on earth. I provide a compassionate and supportive space where you can reflect on life, loss, purpose, and the unknown in a way that feels gentle, respectful, non-judgemental and supportive.
